Still reeling off a hugely successful season 3 of Orange is the New Black, Netflix added a quirky romantic comedy to their originals slate, captained by Judd Apatow and starring Gillian Jacobs and Paul Rust. New Wave Entertainment Digital was tasked with finding ways to make the common word “love” trend in social networking circles in such a way that would point to the show, rather than the emotion.

During its launch and beyond, I helped to create dozens of animated GIFs and promotional videos, including these looping animated title cards that made use of show quotes.
